Forma Antiqva is a Baroque Music Ensemble based in Oviedo. At the core of the group are the brothers Zapico who herald from the mining district of Langreo in Asturias.
The classically trained brothers Pablo, Daniel and Aarรณn started Forma Antiqva 10 years ago and since then have been nominated for the International Classical Music Awards for their Baroque Musique, as well as many other awards along the way.
The group works alongside some of the finest classical music artists from all over the world and offers an energetic and unique performance at every concert.
Daniel Zapico, was born in 1983 in Langreo, Asturias (Spain). He graduated from theย Escola Superior de Mรบsica de Catalunyaย with the highest grade, alongside fellow musician Xavier Dรญaz-Latorre. In 2012, he obtained a Master in โMusicologรญa, Educaciรณn Musical e Interpretaciรณn de la Mรบsica Antiguaโย at theย Universidad Autรณnoma de Barcelona, receiving unanimous praise by the exam board for his project on Robert de Visรฉe.
Pablo Zapico, was born in 1983 in the principality of Asturias in Spain.
